Responsibility Core Value On and Off the Golf Course

Categories: 2018, July, Newsletter

As one of The Nine Core Values, Responsibility is defined as accounting for one’s actions; dependable.  Participants are responsible for their actions on the golf course. It is up to each player to keep score, repair divots, rake bunkers, repair ball marks on the green, and keep up with the pace of play.

Participants are responsible for their actions at home and school by accounting for their actions, being dependable and trustworthy.  They can be counted on to mean what they say, and take credit and/or blame for their actions.  Participants show responsibility every time they complete a homework assignment on time; clean up their room; return items to their correct location after use; or make their bed each morning.

Responsibility is a key component towards becoming a model The First Tee student and coach.
